Well as time went by- the US split Jugoslavia, a russian ally, and Russia kept quiet- the US bombed Sarajevo and Russia kept quiet- the NATO became partner with many countries east of Germany, Russia raised an eyebrow but kept quiet- the US invaded Iraq under false pretenses and Russia kept quiet- the NATO tried to build missle systems near the russians in east Poland, Russia protested but otherwise kept quiet- The Securitycouncil ask permission to establish a no-fly zone in Libya, Russia gave an ok and kept quiet even as the country was bombed- The West raised presure in Syria, a Russian ally, and the USA tried the same trick twice, Russia gave no ok but resolved the conflict and made Assad end his chemical weapons program, thanks to Lawrov. And even though they had a military base there, Russia did not intervene directly and kept quiet - brutal riots overthrew the pro-russian government in Ukraine and the American candidat is now prime minister of the Ukraine, Nuland was caught on tape discussing it. And now Russia put its foot down and secured its bases and people. And now Russia is agressive, yeah right.Its like poking a bear with a stick from a safe distance for hours from all sides, and now everyone is shocked that the bear stood up and broke the sticks poking him. Now when he bites we will shoot him and say, well he had it coming. How to proceed? its your choice between peace and annihalation.

@moribund: It is true the unrest, civil war and separatist movements were there long before Clinton helped to sign the Dayton agreement, nevertheless the USA and Europe were among the first to grant diplomatic recognition, basically sealing the deal. The same later with Kosovo, the Nato dropped bombs and was not backed up by the security council. Kosovo declared independence and the west accepted it.
I just want to point out the apparent double standard when it comes to the illegal interference in the affairs of other countries. Many US administration including Clinton and especially Bush Ignored international law to achieve their goals and now they accuse Russia doing the same. The US lost the moral authority in this matter and now they are upset about the blowback. I don`t like the development either, but the west asked for this confrontation.

This government have no moral authority to say anything, and even though I despise any violence, it makes me sick how strong is propaganda in this freedom loving country. To violently intervene is a privilege of only one remaining superpower.

John McCain is one of the biggest chickenhawk, Zionist POS in all of Congress...and that's saying a lot considering the composition of the U$ Congress. How fitting that McCain was speaking to his fellow travelers and kosher masters at AIPAC. As for the Ukraine situation, the U$ has exactly 0 moral standing to criticize any other country on foreign intervention. Obama is a bigger war criminal than Putin any day.
